This is an alias for cursor save and restore to be used with switching to the alternate screen buffer.

In terminals that support disabling support for the alternate screen buffer support for this mode follows that setting. So using this mode together with alternate screen buffer or alternate screen buffer, with clear on exit ensures that either both are done or neither.

Activating this mode invokes save cursor. Deactivating this mode invokes restore cursor .
